After capturing Erica & Robert's gorgeous Stevens-Coolidge Place Engagement Session last summer {Check it out here} we knew that their wedding was going to be amazing...but their picture perfect wedding exceeded all expectations! We started our day at the recently opened and absolutely gorgeous Beuport Hotel Gloucester where everyone was getting ready for the big day! While the girls drank mimosas and got dolled up, the guys shared laughs and a few drinks of their own.
Before heading out for the first look between the Bride and Groom, we took some time for the Bride to have a first look with the first important man in her life...her Dad! Dad couldn't hold back his emotions as he saw his gorgeous daughter in her wedding dress, and these two were able to share a really sweet moment together.
A luxury shuttle bus escorted Erica, her family and Bridal Party over to Hammond Castle in Gloucester, while poor Robert and his groomsman had to squeeze into Anthony's car alongside a few kids carseats. It was worth it though, as Hammond Castle was the perfect backdrop for Erica to descend from the historic castle for her Groom to see her for the first time! We made our way around the gorgeous Castle with endless photo opportunities, and the rain held off just long enough for us!
With the first look behind us, the Bride walked down the aisle at Saint Anthony's By The Sea and her and Rob were married in a gorgeous ceremony in front of friends and family. The party immediately got started afterwards at The Hellenic Center in Ipswich which is a sprawling mansion with pristine lawns. Considering when we met them for the first time we immediately bonded over our shared love of good food, and Robert is a chef, so it was no surprise that the food was the main star at their reception. The guests were treated to exceptional food stations, hand rolled cigars, and a gorgeous cake!
Erica missed no detail in planning an absolutely dream day and we were so lucky to be able to capture it for them. Erika shared the best memory from her wedding was "Raising our arms and presenting ourselves as husband and wife at the church. It was the happiest time of my life." We hope you enjoyed the honeymoon!
